I just wanted to share this lovely interview I did for the Hat Academy this week, so wonderful to have support from such a great Millinery Platform. Thank you Elaine Mergard and Sophie Allport for putting this together 🙂
Also sharing below some gorgeous photos that the very talented photographer Wendell Teodoro captured of Carla Bombardieri wearing Crazy Teapot Millinery at Everest Race day in Sydney on 14th October 2017. So many gorgeous photos!
This week I received exciting news that my Millinery Entry into the BNE (Brisbane Fashion Month) Millinery Competition has been selected as a Finalist.
Part of the weight on the judging panel comes from public votes, so it would be wonderful to have your support in voting for my design. One vote per day is allowed – Click HERE to Vote for my design:)
My design is a beautiful feminine spring halo style headpiece/hat in lilac which has lots of gorgeous leather flowers in lilac/pink/blue tones which look to be floating off in the breeze. Perfect for spring racing fashion.
It was wonderful to attend the Thoroughbred Events Spring Luncheon in Sydney last weekend 17th September 2017.
It was a fantastic event for Crazy Teapot to gain exposure and sell some Spring Millinery for the Spring Racing Carnival season now well underway.
I was also very excited to be awarded 3rd place for my Showstopper Millinery entry a beautiful feminine pink and white crown with handmade hydrangea flowers, modeled by Brittney Tamou.
